Mr. Herlevic died Friday, September 17, 1993 in Hungary after and apparent heart attack.
Fred was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knight's of Columbus, Board of Directors of the Silver Waters Council of the Girl Scouts in Monroe and was active in the United Way. He was also a member of the Louisiana Engineering Society. Fred was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Feller Herlevic of Winnsboro; sons, Matt Herlevic of San Antonio, TX, David Herlevic and Michael Herlevic of Winnsboro; daughter, Allison Herlevic of Winnsboro; two brothers, Vinco Herlevic, Jr. and Nick Herlevic of Monroe; sister, Mary Anne Carsen of Ocean Springs, MS.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Mangrum, Jerry Hays, Charlie Svetlecic, Tommy Baldwin, Joe Maranto, Henry Hutson, Phil Lowentritt and Dr. Jay Busby.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday evening with a Vigil Wake Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
