Daughter of Robert Neathery & Mrs. Margaret Powell, widow of Elijah Powell, of Burke county, North Carolina. Sarah married William Easley October 9, 1821 probably in Cumberland county, Kentucky. She was the mother of Elizabeth, Martha, Burnet M., Robert N., William D & Francis M. Easley. William Easley's Bible states that Sarah "departed this life August the 19th AD 1831" The words "Sangon Co. Illinois" were added later in a different handwriting.
There is no way of knowing where she was buried in Sangamon county, nor is there a tombstone to mark her grave.
