PETER, HIS BROTHER DANIEL AND A COUSIN, PHILIP, ALL SCHNEPPS, WERE TAKEN PRISIONERS AT THE INFAMOUS '''ANDERSONVILLE CONFEDERATE PRISON""".

Peter was the 2ed child of Samuel and Deliliah Schnepp.
His parents had 15 children, 4 sons who signed up with the Civil War:

Issac Schnepp b. 1846--154th Indiana
Andrew Schnepp b. 1842--154th Indiana
Peter Schnepp b. 1842--72ed Indiana- POW Andersonville, Georgia
Daniel Schnepp B. 1849--72ed Indiana- POW Amderspmville, Georgia

Both Peter and Daniel were taken prisioner and kept at Anderson Confederate Prison. They also had a distant Schnepp cousin who was there too. Phillip Schnepp FAG 17591465.

All four boys survived the war. Peter was the only one who did not marry.
