She had formerly lived in Odell and was a graduate of Jackson Heights School in 1938. She had lived in Shawnee Township for the past 45 years. She was a former secretary-bookkeeper for DriAll for many years. She was a member of Jackson Heights United Methodist Church and Attica Chapter #125 O.E.S. She loved to knit and tend to her vegetable and flower gardens.
Surviving, besides the husband, are: a daughter, Nancy (Ralph) Tillotson, Attica; a sister, Barbara (Don) Hallett, Lafayette; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Matthew and Emily Tillotson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Ade, and a brother, Charles Stafford.
Friends may be received from 5-8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with O.E.S. memorial services being conducted at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jeff Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
