Memphis---Mildred Hutcherson, 91, died Sunday, July 20, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Spicer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hutcherson was born in Mansfield. She married Edwin Hutcherson in 1932.
She had been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1912 and was on the building committee when the presentday church was built in 1968. She also had held every office in the Church Women's Society.
Mrs. Hutcherson was active in the 1913 Study Club from the 1960s to the 1980s. She also was an accomplished oil and china painter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Hutcherson, in 1981.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lera Kate Powell of Plano; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to the Methodist church.
