Mrs. Frances Irene Hicks, 74, lifelong resident of South Pemiscot County, died January 2 at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital anbd her funeral was held the following Monday afternoon at the Dean Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Adrian Knipper of Whitesville, Tenn., officiating. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery.
She was born in Pemiscot County January 16, 1897, the daughter of Henry and Roxie Grimes Kyle.
She leaves a son, John Henry Hicks of Hollow Rock, Tenn., a daughter, Mrs. Ann Blurton of Cottonwood Point; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Whalen of Ferguson, Mo. and Mrs. Tressie Conway of Clifton, Miss.
