Bernice Lydia Mauseth-Evridge, age 78, St. Cloud, MN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Sterling House, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Bernice was born January 30, 1930 in Marion, SD to Walter and Mary (Wiens) Bemelman. She married Harold Mauseth on March 25, 1948 in Marion, SD. He died on December 4, 1991. On November 26, 1996 Bernice married Neil Evridge in St. Cloud, MN. Bernice worked as a custodian at St. Cloud State University for 22 years. She was a volunteer at Key Row. Bernice was a member of Calvary Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Neil Evridge of St. Cloud, MN; daughters, Susan Richards of Sauk Rapids, MN; Joyce (Dennis) Johnson of Alexandria, MN; Cheryl Moske of Fergus Falls, MN; step children, Neal (Ann) Wass of Monatte, MO; Blanche Evridge of Minneapolis, MN; Virginia Norby of Minneapolis, MN; Charles Evridge of Cannon Falls, MN; brother, Harvey (JoAnn) Bemelman, of Rice, MN; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; and 9 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Harold Mauseth, and son, Gerald Mauseth on November 5, 1975.
Memorials are preferred to St. Cloud Hospital Hospice or Coborn's Cancer Center.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Forer, Tim Oldenkamp, Glen Richards, Darell Nelson, Matthew Rau and Dennis Johnson.
