Mrs. Georgelene Staley, 42, of Mountain Home, died Saturday at Harmon Hospital in Houston, Texas. A native of Baxter County, she was a Baptist.
Mrs. Staley was born May 6, 1936, in Mountain Home, the daughter of the former Maggie Elizabeth Fowler and the late George Basley Hensley. She was married here Dec. 4, 1951, J. B. George Staley.
Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, J. B. George Staley, Jr. of Mountain Home; two daughters, Anna Mae Holland of Choctaw, Okla., and Elizabeth Kay Bowman of Houston; her mother of Mountain Home; two sisters, Thelma Smith of Mountain Home, and Virgie Bird of Holland, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Roller Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bill Mayo.
Pallbearers were Don Cochran, Ray Smith, Rex Bird, Jerry Bird, Butch Bird, and Russell Hensley.
Interment took place at Oakland Cemetery, under direction of Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home.
