Wayne G. Swigart, 81, Farmer City died June 8, 1986 at Burnham Hospital, Champaign. Funeral services were held at Stensel-Calvert-Belangee Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
He was born October 15, 1904 in DeWitt County, a s/o Bion and Sarah Evelyn Edwards Swigart. He married Alma Kirby on February 16, 1940 at St Louis. She survives along with a son, Gary of Burlington NC; two daughters: Beverly Buttry, Farmer City and Donna Justice, Myrtle Beach SC; five grandchildren; three brothers: Keith of Farmer City; Theodore of Champaign; and Lowell of Donovan; and four sisters: Vera Hopkins, Gardner; Theresa Turner, Phoenix AZ; and Laura Ruch and Leta Little, both of Farmer City. He was preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.
Mr. Swigart was a farmer for 62 years. He was a member of the Weedman United Methodist Church.
