Leta G. Little, 96, of Farmer City, died January 28, 1999 at ManorCare Health Services, Normal. Her funeral was at the Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Weedman United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Little was born October 25, 1902 in DeWitt County, a d/o Bion and Sarah Edwards Swigart. She married Joseph Allen Little (1894-1988) on January 28, 1922 in Normal. He died July 29, 1988. Survivors include a son, Robert A. (Jane), Farmer City; two daughters: Esther Halatek, Beverly Hills MI; and Carolee (Ernest) Fogg, San Antonio TX; a brother, Lowell (Laurabelle) Swigart, Watseka; one sister, Vera Hopkins of Morris; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandsons, four brothers, and three sisters.

Mrs. Little was a member of the Weedman United Methodist Church; member of the Birth Club, Garden Club, and the American Home Club, all in Farmer City.
