'Christine Arnold, 57, of Sumner died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Ivie Powell and Haskell England officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Hopewell to "Gus" V. and Zona Keesling Harris. She married Charles Arnold Oct. 6, 1961. She was a homemaker and member of Bonham Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Thomas Arnold and wife Lorie of Hopewell and Stephen Arnold and wife Annettee [sic] of Sumner; her mother, Zona Harris of Sumner; a brother, Gus V. Harris Jr. and wife Barbara of Hopewell; and grandchildren, Joshua, Aaron, Kevin, Chelsea and Samantha Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gus V. Harris Sr. and a sister, Mary Virginia Ervin. Pallbearers will be Buddy Carter, J. C. Howell Jr., Kenneth Hill, Harry Cunningham, Luther Stewart, R. P. Woodby, Joe Upchurch and Gerald Harris.'
