Henry Behne's Services Held
Henry Behne, long-time El Reno resident and operator of Behne jewelry, died in Park View hospital last Wednesday night.
Services were at 2 p. m. Friday in the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. John Westin, minister, officiating, and burial in the El Reno cemetery under direction of Benson funeral home. Masonic services were held at graveside.
Mr. Behne was born May 4, 1882 in Defiance, Ohio and moved to Oklahoma City from Paris, Tex. , in 1906, In 1918 he moved to El Reno, where he lived the remainder of his life.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Knights Templar. the Shrine, Elks lodge, Eagles lodge and Oklahoma Retail Jewelry association.
Survivors include his wife, Eva of the home, 1017 South Macomb, a sister, Mrs. Alice Kitson, 300 South Barker, and a number of nieces and nephews.
