--Again our little village was startled into consciousness that death is still in our midst, this time claiming Leonard E. Hunt, our neighbor and much respected friend and citizen, death occurring early Monday morning, April 10. Mr. Hunt had been in failing health for several months and but for the untiring care of these nearest kin, Miss Alice, his sister, and Abby., his devoted daughter, left motherless in early childhood, and who has never been separated from her father for any length of time, has all through the long winter been his constant attendant and comforter, thus helping to prolong the life so dear to her. Leonard E. Hunt was born seventy-one years ago, Aug. 12: was one of the sons of the late Thomas and Ruth Woolworth Hunt. Is survived ty two children, Charles of Meriden, Conn, and Abby, the daugther, one sister, Alice, and one brother, Segur, of Lacona. A good man has gone from among us. Funeral from his late home, Wednesday, April 12, at 1 p.m.
