Ruth Lee Glosup 86 of Del City died Sept. 28, 2009. She was born February 4, 1923 in Arkansas the daughter of William and Dollie Bethel. Lee was active in the American Legion, VFW and the Rebecca Lodge. Lee was avid about her Bingo. She donated a lot of her time organizing parties for nursing homes and veteran groups where she would dress up as a clown and entertain. Lee always loved being with her family and her home was always open to family, friends, neighbors and church friends for meals and fellowship. She was preceded in death by her son, Derald Sweeten. Lee is survived by her daughter, Ann Floyd of El Reno; son, Stephen DeSantis of Del City; son, Nathaniel Yazzie and wife Dana of Bethany; step son Robert Burnett and wife, Linda of Altus, OK; daughter in law, Carmen Sweeten of New Mexico; grandchildren, Nikki Jones, Greg Yazzie, Jennifer Floyd, Cindy Greico, Debbie VanOsdol, Staci Roy, Greg Roland; many many great grand children. Services will be 10am Thursday in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service with burial at 2pm at the Schoolton Cemetery near Cromwell, Oklahoma.
