Aspinwail Rites To Be Monday
FORT PLAIN - Mrs. Hazel Aspinwall, 53, of 10 Lincoln St., Fort Plain, wife of Theodore Aspinwall, died early Friday in Glenridge Hospital, Scotia, where she had been a patient for the last ten days. Born Dec. 7, 1920 in Argusville, she was the daughter of Herbert and Marjorie Rector Kane, and was a graduate of Sharon Springs High School and had been employed at Beech-Nut, Canajoharie, and Luxuray Inc., Fort Plain. Since 1962 she was employed at the Canajoharie Manufacturing Co.. for the past eight years as a supervisor. She was a member of the Otsquago Coin Club. Surviving are her husband, whom she married May 24,1961; her parents, of Canajoharie RD2; a step-son, Vincent Aspinwall of St. Johnsville RD 1; two stepdaughters, Miss Joyce Aspinwail of Cooperstown and Miss Karen Aspinwail at home; four brothers, Ernest Kane of Glen, Everett Kane of Mt. Vision; Herbert Kane Jr. of Queensbury and EarJ Kane, Central Bridge; two sisters, Mrs. Percy Tallmadge Jr. of Glen and Mrs. Archie MacPhail of Ames; two step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, Ft. Plain, the Rev. Theodore Hammer, pastor of St. Mark's and St. John's Lutheran Churches, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Fort Plain Cemetery.
