Mrs. Docia Alvey, 85, of 510 Captain Frank Road, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at home. She was a native of Tennessee and former employee of the old Home Telephone Co., Louisville. Surviving daughters are Mrs. Joseph Truax, Mrs. Harry Randolph (Note, per D. Bohn: Actually, she was survived by only 1 daughter, Margaret Rudisill (Moss) Truax, and 1 granddaughter, Leslie Ann (Fess) Randolph.), both of New Albany, and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park. The body will be at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
