Milton J. Brown, Jr. 79, of Wilburton, OK, died Saturday. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Rev. Douglas Wilkins officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Wilburton. He was born July 21, 1916 in Wilburton and married Leortha M. Cathey on Feb. 9, 1948 in McAlester. He was a member of American Legion and of the D.A.V. Survivors include his wife of the home; his two daughters, Kathy Surmiller, Anchorage, AL and Lawana Mathis of Wilburton; two sons, Steve Brown, Anchorage, AL and Lyle Brown of Wilburton; a brother, Calvin Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Earl Brown and George Brown; and a grandson.
