It is unlikely that he married at the age of 14. Additionally; Abraham was listed as 40-49 on the 1840 Clinton Co., KY census; placing his birth between 1791 and 1800. The 1850 Overton Co., TN census shows his age as 50; placing his birth about 1800. He is buried in the Abraham Cross cemetery; on Amonette Ridge in Pickett Co., TN (Previously part of Overton Co.). This is different than the "Cross-Pierce" Cemetery, which is located nearby; on land that has been in my family for years; and is currently owned by my uncle.
