Hunt Dies On Sunday

George Hunt, 89, a resident of Davis for 68 years, died Dec. 7, in the Hale's Nursing Home, Davis. He was a retired farmer.

He was born Dec. 21, 1879, in Florence, Ala., and moved to Davis from Elgin, Tex.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 2:00 p.m. in the United Methodist church with Rev. Troy Pults officiating. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery and Bahner Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were his nephews, Tom Ayers, Charles Ayers, Jeff Ayers, Fred Ayers, John Shumaker, and James Ayers.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Hunt, of the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Francis Hunt of Lindsay, Okla.; three step-sons, George Hinchey of Davis, Herman Hinchey of Pauls Valley, and Russell Hinchey of Norman; a sister, Mrs. Mae Oakley of Davis; and two brothers, Price Hunt and Claude Hunt, both of Davis.
