Mrs. Oakley Dies
At Pauls Valley
Mrs. Lizzy Mae Oakley, 80, died Feb. 14 in Pauls Valley General hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 16 in Bahner-Fox Funeral chapel. Rev. Leroy Tignor and Rev. Charles L. Nordean officiated. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery with arrangements by Bahner-Fox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Charles Ayers, Harold Oakley, Randy Morre, Carl Summers, Larry Wells and John Davis Thomas.
Born Aug. 24, 1898, in Bastrop county, Tex., Mrs. Oakley had lived in Davis since she was a small child. Her husband, Emmett Oakley died in 1927.
Survivors are one grandson, Robert M. Smith of Davis; one brother, Claude Hunt of Davis; and two great-grandsons.
