OBITUARY

Mrs. J. E. WRIGHT (Benena Mae), longtime resident of Hemphill County, passed away July 29, 1946 at her home in Glazier at the age of 74 years. Her husband preceded her in death about two years ago.

Mrs. WRIGHT was born at Crockett, Texas, March 14, 1872. The Wright family came to Hemphill County in 1918.

Thirteen children survive. The are Mrs. I. E. JACKSON and Mrs. Dave McCUTIN, of Glazier; Mrs. Ernest GREENHILL, of Gladstone, New Mexico; Mrs. T. L. PETERMAN of Pampa, Texas; Mrs. W. W. ATWOOD, of Lubbock; Earl of Anton; Frank, of Channing; Henry, of Amarillo; Dick, of Mobeetie; Lewis, of California; Cline, of Glazier; Edward of Fritch and Bill, of Oregon.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Canadian with the Rev. Fern A. Miller, officiating.

Pallbearers were Tom HEXT, Fred HENSLEY, W. O. SCOTT, Raymond WILLIAMS, Jim WILSON and Grady LUNN.

Interment was made in the Canadian cemetery with the Stickley Funeral Home in charge,
