Mrs. Rosanna Bernier, 78, of 70 Pioneer Avenue, died Saturday at the H.D. Goodall Hospital after a lingering illness.
She was born at Springvale on July 11, 1889, daughter of John and Monique Cote Belanger.
Mrs. Bernier was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.
Survivors are a son, Raymond Bernier, Sanford; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Butler, Sanford; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Prayers were said Tuesday morning at the Lafrance-Boisvert Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street. A High Mass of Requiem followed at St. Ignatius Church and burial was in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
