Mrs. Charles W. Alvey, 90, the former Mary (Mom) Renalda Brangers, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at Georgetown Manor Nursing Home. She formerly lived at 4443 Sanders Lane. She was a native of Belgium. Mrs. Alvey is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louise Corbett; three sons, Charles J. (Bud) Alvey, of Georgetown, Ind., and Bernard and Richard Alvey; 24 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2914 S. Third, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. The body will be at Ratterman's, 2815 S. Fourth, after 6 p.m. Saturday.
