FORT VALLEY - Thurman Garrett "T. G." Rowland, 60, died Sunday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Rowland, a lifelong resident of Peach County, was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lois B. Rowland of Fort Valley; six sons, Robert Rowland and Donnie Rowland, both of Atlanta, Wayne Rowland, Keith Rowland, Ronnie Rowland, and Phil Rowland, all of Fort Valley; his mother, Mrs. Julia Rowland of Fort Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Wilson and Mrs. J. G. Beck, both of Fort Valley; and four grandchildren.
