Lillian V. Jambor Benick, age 92, resident of Merrifield, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at her home. She was born on May 28, 1918 in St. Paul, MN. to Phillip and Victoria Ostrowski Jambor. Lillian lived the past 57 years in Merrifield.

Lillian is survived by her two daughters, Betty Shriber (John) Scheff of Arizona, and Rosemary (Norm) Hollingsworth of Little Falls; grandchildren, Karen (Roger), Kim (Jason), Jamie (Teresa), Janel (Jeff), Jean (Rod); great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; and brother, Herman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Fr. Steve Laflamme officiating. Visitation times are Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 5-7:00 pm at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, and Wednesday one hour prior to Services at the Church. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.

Arrangements with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd, MN 56401.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday, with a prayer service at 7 PM on September 21, 2010 at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and will continue the hour before services at the chuch on Wednesday.
