Myrlee Smith Services Held

Funeral services were held last Saturday for Mrs. Myrlee L. Smith of Winterset. Mrs. Smith died at the Villa West Care Center here last Friday, December 6 (1974) at the age of 69.

Myrlee Leota Smith was born in Montgomery County, Iowa on January 29, 1905, the daughter of Sidney R. and Gertrude DeWitt White. She was married to Gailen J. Smith at Winterset on August 26, 1923.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two children, Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Stuart of Winterset; and Gailen Wayne Smith of Elkhart, Iowa.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three brother; Robert White of Paradise, California; and Lawrence and Sidney Merrill White of Winterset.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7 at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur officiating. Burial was in the Clark Cemetery.
