RITES THURSDAY FOR F R DAVIS
Funeral services for Floyd Rush Davis, 83, who died at his residence at 1318 Pine Ave, early Monday morning, will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 at Usrey Chapel. The Rev G D Waites will officiate and interment will be at Edgemont Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Elva Byars and Mrs Rosa Throgmorton, both of Anniston, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Formerly from Jacksonville, Mr Davis had lived in Anniston for the past 46 years. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Manley Hess, Oliver and Pete Henley, Lee Pounds, Jim Bennett, and Charles Huddleston.
