ALICE M. GILLILAND

Funeral services for Alice M. Gilliland, 94, Davis, were March 9 at Fox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Finis Steelman and Rev. Johnny Beckman officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gilliland was born October 20, 1898 at Sweetwater, Texas and died March 7 at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital, Sulphur. She married Hugh Gilliland October 8, 1914 at Sulphur and lived in Davis most of her life. She was a cook at Woodland School. Her parents were William H. and Molly Michael Aldridge. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977, a daughters, Billie Bumgarner in 1940 and a son, Clyde E. Gilliland in 1961. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Harrison of Eufaula; three sons, H. C. and Sam Gilliland, both of Davis and James Wesley Gilliland of Hennessey; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Jim Primrose, Randy Moore, Buck Wilson, Charles Ayers, Joe Ray Primrose and Boo Broaddrick.
