From the (Austin, TX) Statesman, Thursday, March 20, 1919, p. 10:

The body of Mrs. J. B. Early will reach Austin this evening at 8 o'clock over the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad, accompanied by the husband and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Nitschke, father and mother of Mrs. Early. The body will be borne to the family home, 1919 Speedway, where it will rest until tomorrow morning. At 10 o'clock brief services will be held there by Father J. Elliott Ross, priest of St. Austin's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. The pallbearers are: Tom Cochreham, John Sheehey, Vivian Posey, Pat O'Donnell, W. G. Clarkson and James A. Hunter.

Mrs. J. B. Early, a sister of L. E. Nitschke, Austin city ticket agent of the Katy railroad, died at her Cleveland, Ohio, home on Monday of pneumonia.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Nitschke and another brother is Lieutenant Hilliare Nitschke in the army service and stationed at Fairfield, Ohio.

Mrs. Early was born in Austin, lived in Austin until her marriage and her body will be brought to Austin for Interment.
