On the marriage record her name is recorded as Mildred. She had red hair at the time of her marriage as is recorded in her widow's pension application. They arrived with their children in Livingston Co KY during the spring of 1811. Seven children were born to their marriage:
1)John Matthew (Aug 1794-1797 buried in NC);

6)Parmelia (Ephrim Parmely);
7)William B.
While in Caswell Co NC and sometimes early in Livingston Co KY the surname was spelled Willson.

In January 1812 an Indenture was made between Richard and Elizabeth Peele with John and Hugh Dobbins, executors of James Wilson's will, for a parcel of land (200 acres)for the sole use of Amelia Wilson, widow, as recorded in Livingston Co Ky, Deed Book D, page 359.
COMMENT: Elizabeth Peele's maiden name was Wilson-it is unknown if she was of relation to this set of Wilsons.

Amelia also raised her granddaughter Nancy Craig (recorded as Crage in marriage records) who was orphaned. Nancy Craig had lived with Amelia from the age of about nine months until she married Hardy Gibson the son of Jesse Gibson. (notes of permission for the marriage license documents previous information).

Amelia Wilson's death year is based on information in Livingston County KY Deed BK 5, pages 143-144
