Gladys M. Goninan, 75, Brainerd, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Brainerd to Carl and Olga Erickson. She married Charles W. Goninan on June 18, 1942. She worked as a home health aide through Good Neighbor for many years.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Strang, Pequot Lakes, and Jo Ann Martinsen and Faye Dosh, both of Brainerd; a son, Charles Goninan, Baxter; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Selma Lock, Duluth, Mabel Goninan, Brainerd, and Betty Mae Lane, Spokane, Wash.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Whittemore and Pastor Harvey Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Pequot Lakes Village Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd and an hour before services Monday at the church.
