Bertha E. Frost, daughter of George and Beulah Butler, was born Dec. 7, 1872, and departed this life, April 8, 1951, at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 1 day.

At the age of 16, she united with the Asbury Methodist church and was a member there until around the year 1930. She then placed her membership with the Main Street Christian church, and there remained a faithful member until the time of her passing.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Harvey Stoltz, March 2, 1893, and to this union 3 children were born. One daughter, Marietta, and two sons, Hiser and George, both sons preceding her in death.

On June 18, 1923, she was married to George S. Frost, and they were living at their home on 408 West Cherry street, at the time of her departure.

Surviving are her husband, George, the daughter, Maretta Baldwin, five grandchildren, Mrs. Elizabeth Sullivan, Mrs. Beulah Kreinheder, Mrs. Peggy Sue Manning, Robert Stoltz and Donald Douglas, all from the vicinity of St. Louis, two great-grandchildren, Janice Marie Kreinheder and Curtis Blaine Manning, three step-daughters, Mrs. Artie Winterberg, Mrs. Cleo Ainsworth and Miss Celia Frost, they being from the vicinity of Indianapolis, also several other relatives and friends.
