Monroe B. Bratton, 94, Died in California

Monroe B. Bratton, age 94, of Bell Gardens, California, died at Lakewood California December 3. He was born in Arkansas December 10, 1882.

Survivors are two sons, Ted Bratton of Ft. Smith and Ulis Bratton of Bell Gardens, California; nine daughters, Mrs. Wilma Queen, Mrs. Agnes Bratton, Mrs. Esther Stewart and Ms. Bennie Bratton, all of California, Mrs. Hazel West and Mrs. Velma Carley, both of texas, Mrs. Nina Forsman and Mrs. Mary Williams, both of Fort Smith and Mrs. Ruby Roach of Russellville; 30 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two half brothers.

Funeral Service was Wednesday, December 7 at Leslie Assembly of God Church, conducted by Bro. Earl Maxwell. Burial was in Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Leslie, under direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Marshall.
