Terrill Lashan Butler of Battle Creek was born January 18, 1973 in Battle Creek, MI the son of James Armstrong and Jacquelyn Y. (Bulter) Wilson.

Terrill L. Butler, 36, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Battle Creek Health System.

He served in the Army as a Private First Class. Terrill worked for Koyo as a machine operator. Terrill loved kids as he was a wonderful father to his children. He enjoyed his dog, Billy, cooking and listening to his music. Terrill especially loved his family. He had lots of friends, as he was very out going. Terrill liked to play checkers and dominos and he was very faithful to his job at Koyo Corporation.

Terrill is survived by his mother and step-father, Jacquelyn Y. (Ronald) Wilson; daughters, Teayle and Shantese Butler; special daughter, Sharrill Cleggett; sisters, Francine Butler-Wilson, Marshel Wilson-Rashid, Ronika Wilson; grandfathers, Joe Armstrong, James Scott and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother, Catherine Scott.

Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Covenant Church International on Monday with the family hour from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the church with Bishop Dr. Hugh D. Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
