Mr. Jim Allbright, age 82 of Houston, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in the Kin-dred Hospital in Houston. Mr. Allbright was born November 4, 1926 in Coolidge, Texas and had been living in Houston for the past 7 years, previously living 20 years in Huntsville. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Mr. Allbright was retired having worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Texas Department of Corrections and was a member of the Cypress Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Charlene Allbright, of Houston; daughter Regina Allbright Morris and husband Paul, of Houston; sons Barry Allbright and wife Rhonda, of Amarillo and Charlie All-bright and wife Byna, of Houston; 10 Grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Henry Horton and wife Vannette, of Fairfield and Allene Stubbs and husband Carol, of Houston; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by his son Jamie Allbright; parents Mr. and Mrs. Allen Allbright; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Dub and Lula Horton. Funeral Services for Mr. Jim Allbright were held Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Henry Horton and the Rev. Carol Stubbs officiating.
