HETTIE DICKSON

Funeral services for Hettie Dickson, 91, Davis, were October 9 at First Christian Church with Bro. Dennis Long officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dickson was born May 28, 1901 at Dickson, Tennessee and died October 6 at her home. She had lived in Davis most of her life. Her parents were Tom and Lula Cary Hager. She had been a cook for Davis School.

Survivors include four daughters, Lois Webb, Ruthie Gibson and Betty Jones, all of Davis, and Johnnie Wiggins of Birmingham, Alabama; two sons, C. W. Williams of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and L. C. Williams of Coolidge, Arizona; two sisters, Betty Goldsberry of Stockton, California and Minnie Pullen of Davis; 29 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in 1964, a daughter, Lula Raper in 1989, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Joe Cross, Rick Bowen, Jerry Paul Pullen, Sammie Jones, Joe Tom Ayers and C. L. Butler. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Puckett, Paul Fine, Bill McKinney and Don Reaves.
