Calvin "Cal" West of Williamsburg, Julip Route died at 5:30 pm Sunday; May 29, 1966. He was 55 years old. The Rev Clell Strunk officiated at the funeral service held at 3:00 pm Tuesday in the Lower Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery by Ellison Funeral Home of Williamsburg, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Grand and Sylvania Ralston West. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Temple Waters West; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Waters of Strunk, Mrs. Hettie Siler of Williamsburg, Mrs. Lovella Shelley of Detroit MI, and Mrs. Thelma West Brookfield IL; six sons, Earl West and Clifford West of Brookfield IL, Clyde West of Muncie IN, Clinton West of Hamilton OH, Denny Ray West and Roy West of Julip Route Williamsburg KY; one sister, Mrs. Susie Portwood of Rushville IL and 12 grandchildren.
