MRS. LAURA TAYLOR, DUNCAN'S BRIDGE, DIES THIS MORNING
Mrs. Laura Taylor, 88, died at 5:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jess Jennings, at Duncan's Bridge. She had been seriously ill for three weeks.
Mrs. Taylor was born in London, England, and was brought to the United States by her parents when she was 5 years old. She lad lived in the Duncan's Bridge vicinity for a number of years, having made her home with her daughter following the death of her husband, F. G. Taylor, in 1907.
A son, Owen Taylor, died six years ago. Mrs. Taylor is survived by Mrs. Jennings and three other daughters, Mrs. Nellie Jones of Jacksonville, Mrs. Beulah Riley and Mrs. Edna Darby of Auburn, Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Owen Taylor of Clarence; two sons, Dudley Taylor of Moberly and Sam Taylor of Clarence; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The body has been taken to the Jennings home at Duncan's Bridge, where it will remain until the funeral hour tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Roy Heifner of Moberly at Felps chapel, east of Jacksonville. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
