MRS. BELLE JENNINGS DIES AT 81; FUNERAL TO BE HELD SUNDAY
Mrs. Belle Jennings of the Duncan's Bridge community died at 7 o'clock this morning in Whitaker Hospital, where she had been a patient since July 26. She was 81 years old.
She was born in the Duncan's Bridge community and lived there all her life. Her husband, Jess Jennings, died in 1932 and their three children died in infancy.
Mrs. Jennings is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Lowry and Mrs. Edna Darby, Auburn, Wash., and Mrs. Fred Jones, Jacksonville; and a brother Sam Taylor, Duncan's Bridge.
The body will be in the Cater Funeral Home until services at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Felps Chapel, east of Jacksonville, by the Rev. O. C. Wickstrom, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in the Felps Chapel cemetery.

Mrs. Flossie Belle Jennings, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Laura Levick Taylor, was born on October 27, 1877, and passed away on September 4 at 7:00 a.m. at a Moberly hospital after suffering a stroke five weeks ago. She spent her entire life in the Levicks Mill and Duncans Bridge areas.

She was married to Jesse Jennings on September 23, 1903 and to this union three children were born, who all died in infancy. Mr. Jennings passed away on September 23, 1933.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Riley and Mrs. Edna Darley of Auburn, Washington, and Mrs. Fred Jones of Jacksonville; one brother, Sam Taylor, of near Duncans Bridge; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Phelps Chapel Presbyterian Church where the funeral was held Sunday by the Rev. O. C. Wickstrom of the First Christian Church of Moberly. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Casketbearers were: Chester Overfelt, Lester Bean, J. C. and Chester Tisue, Roy Funk and Marvin Wood.
