Geraldine Violet Hanson, 75, of Brainerd died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

Services for Geraldine will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Karen Nichols, of Treasure Island, Fla., Diane Babbe of Madeira Beach, Fla., and Steven Babbe of Boston; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; her siblings, Curtis Abrahamson of Brainerd, William Abrahamson Jr. of Merrifield, Grace Anderson of Brainerd, Dorothy Miller of Proctor, Marilyn Montming of Sartell, and Donna Stearns of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Matilda (Austin) Abrahamson and her sister, Susan Matten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.

** I think the obit may be incorrect; I believe Susan Matten is Geraldine's daughter not her sister. My cousin was married to Susan.
Geraldine Violet Hanson, 75, of Brainerd died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
