Mr. Allen had been a resident of this place for about ten years, where he had conducted a harness shop. He was prominent in fraternal circles being a member of the Odd Fellows, the Rebekahs, and the Maceabees.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) in the Methodist church at Wehsville, and will be in charge of the Maccabees of that place of which tent he was a member. A large number of Whitesville Odd ellows are planning to attend. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
