A rosary will be recited by Ida Trahan on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM. Father Charles McMillin will be officiating the memorial services and burial will be in Calvary Mausoleum following her service.

Catherine Ann was born in Abbeville, La to the late John & Louise Verret Sobert on July 31, 1931. She was a retired school teacher. She enjoyed educating our young people and made it her lifes work to help guide them to a brighter future. Catherine loved to dance. Her favorite was square & western style dancing. She also enjoyed crafting & quilting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved her.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 53 years, Edward "Eddie" Joseph Belair of Jennings; her two beloved children, Charles Mark Belair and his wife Brigett of Belle Chasse and Lynne Ann Reichard of Carlyss; one sister, Ella Louise Sylvest of Gramercy; and her two beautiful grandchildren, Alex & Charley Belair.

Preceded in death by her parents.
