Albert Linderman was born on 20 July 1849 in Boston, Summit County, Ohio, son of James H. Linderman and Lucretia Young. On 17 October 1850, he was a one-year-old child being cared for by his mother while living in Boston, Summit County, Ohio. He has not been located on the 1860 census.

On 8 July 1870, Albert lived in Lenox, Macomb County, Michigan with the family of H. W. And Adelina (–?–) Chase, working as a farm laborer.

Albert was married on 1 May 1873 in Cedar Springs, Kent County, Michigan to Hepsah A. Hall. Hepsy was born on 30 June 1853 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, daughter of Edmund D. Hall and Harriet Edwards. On 9 July 1860, Hepsah lived with her parents, siblings Ellen and Franklin, a probable uncle Seth Hall, and three members of the Clinton family in Grand Rapids, Kent County. On 5 August 1870, Hepsah lived with her parents and Francis and Augusta Spaulding in Algoma, Kent County.

On 13 June 1880, Albert and Hepsah lived in Courtland, Kent County, Michigan, where he owned a farm. Hepsah was caring for their two daughters, Epelisa/Epelina [?] and Mary.

On 13 June 1900, the couple and their children- Mary, Charles, Bessie, Ray, Hazel, and Harold- lived in Courtland township. Albert worked as a farmer. Charles, Bessie, Ray, and Hazel had attended school for between four and nine months in the previous year.

In April 1910, the couple lived in Courtland with three of their children- Ray, Hazel, and Harold. Albert worked as a farmer, assisted by Ray.

In January 1920, the Lindermans lived with their daughter Carrie in Long Lake township.

On 3 April 1930, the couple lived in Solon, Kent County, Michigan with their daughter Hazel and her husband Edward D. Becker.

Albert died on 31 May 1934 in Courtland, Kent County, Michigan. Hepsah died on 21 May 1938 in Cedar Springs, Kent County, Michigan. They are buried in Courtland township Cemetery in Kent County, Michigan.
