Betty Jo Hart of Willcox died Jan. 7, 2006, at the age of 83. She was born Sept. 23, 1922, to Lawrence and Ethyl Lynn Ridennoure in rural La Junta, Colo. She was the eldest of eight children.

After graduating from high school, she attended Grace and Glory Bible School in Kansas City, Mo., where she met and married Ernest Hart. They returned to Willcox, where they built their life and raised five children. Betty Jo and Ernest were active ministers in local churches and involved in missionary work for most of their lives.

Betty Jo is survived by her four sons, Tim (Norma), Larry (Linda), Philip, and Johnny (BJ), and her daughter Joanna (Rich) Hall, 12 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Lawrence (Mitsue) Ridennoure of Prescott, Ben (June) Ridennoure and Jerry (Jan) Ridennoure of British Colombia, and sisters Lois (Fred) Freidenberger of La Junta, Colo., and Ruby Marshall of Salt Lake City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ted Ridennoure, and her sister Pat Batalia. Her husband Ernest died in 2001.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Grace Chapel, beginning at 9 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow the service. Contributions may be made to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 20, Willcox, Ariz., 85644. Services under the direction of Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematorium of Willcox."
