The funeral of Mrs. Anna Whitney of Minturn took place yesterday afternoon from the Church of the Ascension, Rev. J. W. Ohl conducting the services. The remains were interred at Fairview, a large concourse of relatives, friends and citizens joining in the cortege. Mrs. Whitney's relatives have the sympathy of the entire population of Salida in the loss of one most dear to them. During her residence here she was known only to be loved and admired for her many noble traits of character and for her numerous acts of charity and benevolence.
