OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Mrs. Eva Ellen Holley, 41, wife of Chester Holley, 431 Euclid avenue, died in the Wabash County hospital Sunday afternoon at 4:35 o'clock after undergoing a major operation Saturday morning.

Eva Ellen Copeland was the daughter of Martha and Jonathan Copeland and was born in Wabash on March 11, 1900. She was married to Chester Holley who survives. Other survivors are the children, Charles, Chester Jr. Robert, Jackie, William, Viola, Pauline, Darlene, Patty and Bernard; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Whitesel and Mrs. Mary Bower, both of Pierceton; three brothers, William of Lagro, Lionel of Peru and Paul of New Holland; and one grandchild.

Her parents and two children preceded her in death. Her mother, Mrs. Martha Copeland of New Holland, died July 15 of this year. Mrs. Holley was a member of the Pocahontas Lodge and of the Nazarene church.

The body was taken to the Wire Funeral home where it will remain until time for services Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. William Masters of the Nazarene chruch officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
