Mr. J.D. Bice, 77, died at Lincoln General Hospital Thursday afternoon following a short illness.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Bice was a veteran of World War II and the Pacific Theatre, was associated with the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years and was a former executive. He was a resident of Ruston for 69 years, a retired busines[s] man, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy F. Bice; one son, Donald Bice of Dallas; and four grandchildren.
