DIANA BEAMISH BUCHHOLZ
Jan. 6, 1932 - Sept. 11, 2009

Diana was born in Los Angeles on Jan. 6, 1932, to Douglas Mellor Beamish and Edith Smith Beamish. She was the youngest of three children including brothers, Douglas Jr. and Richard. She attended Westlake High School, then the University of California in Santa Barbara. She was active in her sorority, Delta Gamma, and remained dear friends with many of her "sisters" until her death.

In 1953, Diana married LLOYD DUNNING BUCHHOLZ and remained happily so for 56 years. Their union produced three children, Kathrine, Todd and David.

Diana was very outgoing and enjoyed participating in group activities like the Sweet Adelines for many years. Her SA friends were very dear to her and a treasured part of her social circle. She loved the theater, travel, Ping-Pong, playing cards and Mexican Train. She especially loved working in her garden, watching the squirrels and making sure all the birds in the neighborhood were fed.

Diana was a wonderful wife, mother and friend whose loving nature and generosity were apparent to all who knew her. She will be missed by her husband, children and all her extended family. We love you, Mom!
