John L. Adams, a former electrician, died Tuesday at a local health care facility. He was 73.
Adams, a native of Gilbertown, was a resident of Citronelle.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Adams of Dozier, Ala.; one daughter, Doretha "D.J." Thornton of Mobile; two brothers, Paul Adams of Moss Point, Miss., and Gaylon "Shorty" Adams of Satsuma; five sisters, Edna E. Pugh and Faye Watts, both of Citronelle, Hazel Morgan of Grove Hill, and Hilda Walker and Katie Adams, both of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from noon until the 2 p.m. service at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. Burial will take place in Mount Vernon Cemetery.
