L. J. Burdine, age 83, of Arlington, died Tuesday, July 27, 1993 in Redding, CA.
He was born January 31, 1910 in Quail, the son of Stephen A. and Levicy Avyrilla Burdine. He lived most of his life in the Panhandle of Texas, mainly in Gray and Wheeler counties in the communities of Shamrock and Kellerville where he was employed by Royal Oil and Gas. He retired and moved to Tupelo where he and his wife, Lillie F. Burdine, made their home for 25 years. At the time of his death, he resided in Arlington and was a member of Lamar Baptist Church.
